With a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Washington I’ve had the privilege of working with plants for over 10 years. I owe my love of gardening to my Nana whose well-tended flowers I can still remember. When I’m not gardening I enjoy taking walks around the city with my husband and two dogs, reading and writing.

  • Donavon
    DonavonGardener

Hi, I’m Donavon. I have a passion for Horticulture and enjoy expanding my knowledge and skills in nature. My hobbies include camping, hiking, swimming, longboarding, and snowboarding. When I’m not doing outdoor activities, I’m spending time with my family watching movies, playing Yu-Gi-Oh, and just enjoying each other’s company. I love working with Britescape because we work in a team environment that really feels more like a family unit, and we work hard to make our community a better place.

      SteveGardener

Born and raised in Philly, I spent this last decade in California working with plants. I have a natural green thumb and love the outdoors. I worked in forestry for a few years, but am mostly passionate about perfecting my skills as a master grower. I’m skilled at cultivation, integrated pest management, propagation, mixing soil and liquid fertilizers. I feel a spiritual connection to plants and i am always working to better understand their science. In the summer of 2017 I moved to Seattle with the love of my life and began a career in horticulture with Britescape. While working with a great crew and learning new skill sets, I’m also working towards becoming a Certified Professional Horticulturist.
